OUR MINISTRIES
The ministries of Noah’s Ark are solidly built around the scripture of Ephesians 4:15-16 which says:
15 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. 16 From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows, and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
Each ministry is activated by the anointing and power of the Holy Spirit to build the kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As the Pastor of Noah’s Ark, I want each member to find their place in His Kingdom and use the talents and gifts given to them by their heavenly Father. Each believer has a calling in their life to fulfill that calling.
Matthew 6:33 challenges each believer to seek the Kingdom first.... At Noah’s Ark we want each believer to find their place in God’s Kingdom through the directing power and guidance of the Holy Spirit so that Jesus will be glorified in all we do for Him.
Each Ministry offered at Noah’s Ark was created so that the saints of God can find a place of ministry for their calling. Each ministry was created so that their relationship with Jesus and other believers can be strengthened, and that the gospel of Jesus Christ can be shared with others.
John 13:35 Tells us:
35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
The ministries offered at Noah’s Ark want to fulfill this scripture to its fullest!
Student Ministries
Women's Ministry
The women here at Noah's Ark want to touch the lives of women and girls by the transforming power of Jesus Christ, discipling them to follow His example, and training them to minister to others:
1. Reaching women through the transforming power and love of Jesus Christ.
2 .Discipling women to follow Christ's example and live overcoming lives.
3 .Building wholeness and balance, both spiritually and mentally, through consistent prayer and study of God's Word.
4. Providing an atmosphere for women to develop their gifts, abilities, and lasting relationships.
5. Training women to find their places of ministry and effectively touch their world for Christ.
Forge Men's Ministry
God desires men to be leaders in our home and in our community. Through studying God’s Word, we learn the values and traits required for us to lead as men of God, such as taking responsibility for our family members and property, nurturing and instructing those we are responsible for, modeling Christ-like behavior around us, and for the married men among us, honoring and truly loving our wives just as Christ loved the church and gave His life for it.
The problem is that none of us learned this perfectly, even (and sometimes especially) from our own parents. We all stand a far greater chance of being the men we were made to be when we share our stories, journeys, struggles, and successes with one another.
Below are some of the ways we do that:

-
Saturday Breakfast & Bible Study
-
Outreach events throughout the year
-
Missions Trips
-
Men's Conferences (usually every October)
The Student Ministries of Noah's Ark is to inspire youth to walk with Christ. The Ignite Student Ministries are comprised of Spark Kids ministry for ages 5-11 and our Flame Youth Ministry for the older kids; 12-18. These ministries exists to connect, engage, and support all youth and their families while growing with Christ. We seek to give our youth courage to live the Word in their daily living and not just a mental knowledge of the Word. Our four focus areas are: Education, Ministry, Mission/Outreach, and Fellowship/Recreation.
Refiners Fire
Young Adult Ministry
Refiners Fire Young Adult Class, meeting bi-weekly on Sunday evenings 6:00-7:30 at the ARK, downstairs. Ages are 18-35ish.
Mission statement: Penetrating the darkness of this world with His agape love and the infallible Truth of God’s Word.
Hebrews 4:12 NKJV-For The Word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of the soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Grief Share Ministry
“A GriefShare support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Through this 13-week group, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support each step of the way.”
The weekly videos feature nationally respected grief experts and real-life stories of people, and the video is followed by a small group discussion about what was viewed. Past participants have related how helpful the information and follow-up discussions were to them. Of course, sharing is optional!
All materials for these sessions are provided by our church, with no cost to participants. Another plus of this program is that videos are also available online to rewatch or to watch if you miss a session. Dates will be posted and advertised when sessions are offered.
The two of us have each suffered loss of friends and family members throughout our lives. However, when we both became widows, we found ourselves looking to our “tribe” of friends to get us through the days. There is nothing like an understanding shoulder to lean on! We believe that God has led us to reach out to those who are grieving in our communities, offering friendship, solid counsel from experts, and a shoulder to lean on!
